Been feeling the need of doing more drawings, in the model room in the evening is mostly getting the proportions right, then thinking about the contour, using simple lines to describe the form better. Can always use more practice like this. The other day, however, being really fixated on questions about grouping big values, I thought I'd do a quick value study from the life model. It is kind of working, but in the end, I think I will do practice on tonal composition study of old master pieces, and leave model drawing session to practicing my proportions and contour lines.
