It is really cool that Janne is willing to show his process of working on a large multifigure composition. Along with examples of thumbnail sketches and value studies give me a good idea what I should go for and possibly not more, when working on my own ideas. This helps so much on giving a good overview how to approach a painting on our own and promotes confidence to start planning creating our own paintings, which is what most of us want/ plan to do anyway.
