Like last week, I did not have the time to work on the weekends.
It was also a slow week, feels like very little progress was made. I guess I reached another plateau, so just have to keep walking like the masters say.
On Wednesday, instead of master copy for the evening class, our guest lecturer gave a demo on the process of starting a portrait with an under painting. From what I understood, it really is about working mostly on the drawing and then the value of the painting. Just like what we are doing in the model room now. Drawing the figure again and again, checking and changing.
