Value study, high contrast between light and shadow, low contrast inside light/ shadow shapes.
Color study, can't tell you how fun it is to see colors. Skin tones plus values together are certainily starting to show the complication this combination can creat, but here we are. That is all what we are doing here, practicing this and trying to understand it.
